While crews were battling to control the blaze on Hidden Woods drive, and Ladder 5's crew was at station 3 covering calls, company 1 and 5 received a call for a residential structure fire on Malvern Rd. Crews arrived and found smoke coming from the basement and the eaves of the bravo side. Crews found a heavy smoke in the basement and a dryer on fire. They quickly extinguished it with a water can and began ventilation. W5 crew checked for extension and M1 and W53 crews helped set up fans.
